• Are your diamonds certified?
Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.
  • Do you charge sales tax?

If you are a Pennsylvania resident, I am required to collect 6% PA state sales tax.

  • Do you have a store?

I do not currently operate out of a storefront.  When I am in the diamond market in New York, I work in an upstairs buying office.   Other days of the week are reserved for traveling to see my clients.

  • Do you offer insurance?

While I do not sell insurance, I do provide each client with information on how to easily insure each piece and gain maximum protection.

  • Do you take returns/exchanges?

If the item is from my stock inventory, I will most likely be able to take any return with no problem.  If the item is a special order, a custom made piece, or a closeout, then I may be unable to take it as a return.  If you believe in advance that there is a chance that the item may be returned, simply discuss it with me ahead of time. I will always try to work with you.

  • Do you take trade-ins?

Yes.  Whether it is old gold jewelry, diamonds, or another item, I can almost always take it as a trade-in.

  • How do you differ from a retail jewelry store?

The two most important differences are the type of inventory and the manner in which I will work with you.

Jewelry stores have showcases full of inventory.  While listening to your needs, you will be directed towards items in the showcase that are the closest match.   Additionally, most stores will carry branded engagement ring settings and branded diamonds, each of which has a backstory to enhance their features and benefits.  My focus, on the other hand, is based solely upon which item will best suit your needs.  I work directly with many engagement ring manufacturers and also have the ability to custom make anything your mind can imagine.  Branded rings are available as well.  It is your taste and input that will steer the ship, not my direction.

The second biggest difference is the manner in which I will work with you.  How many times have you gone into a store, not just a jewelry store, and thought to yourself - how do these people manage to stay in business?  No one really seems to care about me or what I'm looking for!

I provide you with a pressure free personalized buying experience. Whether your budget is $300 or $30,000, your project will get my full attention in terms of the quality and level of service.  I am almost always available by phone, text, or email.  I do not deal with the general public, so each sale is important to me because it presents me with an opportunity to build a long lasting relationship with repeat and referral business.

  • How do you differ from an online retailer?

Online retailers are the lowest common denominator in terms of price and service.  And low price does not necessarily mean that you are getting a good value!  At the wholesale level, for just about every size, shape, and quality diamond, there can be as much as a 30 to 50% difference in price from the cheapest diamond to the most expensive diamond in the market. There are no dumb diamond manufacturers, and there is a reason for every price.  Beyond the four C's there are countless nuances that will make one diamond a different price than another.  I am in the loose diamond market on a daily basis, and my job is to vet the best diamond options for you. I will then present you with enough choices, and clearly explain the differences between each choice, so that you feel very confident and comfortable in your selection.  In addition to a better value diamond, the relationship that will evolve, along with a very special buying experience is something that cannot be matched by an online retailer.

  • How do your prices compare to retail stores?

My prices are quite favorable compared to a retail jewelry store.  Generally, a store’s biggest expenses are wages, benefits, and rent.  My business does not incur these expenses; therefore I can pass these savings along to my customers.

  • Is it okay to refer you to a friend?

Absolutely.  Since I do not work with the general public my private client business can only grow through referrals.  Not only is it my pleasure to work with your friends and family, but I promise to make you look good.

  • What are your qualifications?

I am a G.I.A. trained Graduate Gemologist with over 30 years of experience in the retail and wholesale diamond and jewelry industry.  I have extensive overseas diamond buying experience and have personally bought, sold, graded, or otherwise handled tens of millions of dollars of loose diamonds.  Please click this link to find out more about me.

  • What form of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, certified check, money order, wire transfer, or credit card.

  • What type of guarantees do you have?

Many chain stores offer diamond guarantees to their clients.  The problem is that you will be bound to the terms of that contract.   Please click the attached link to see how problems can arise, and that in many cases the guarantee is not worth the paper that it is written on.

He Got It At Jared Cautionary Tale

I prefer to deal with every client in the same manner in which I would like to be treated when I shop at a store.  I pride myself on delivering a high-quality product, both in terms of the quality of the diamonds and the craftsmanship of the piece.  If any issues come up, I am always happy to take care of them.   The only way that my referral business can grow is if I treat people properly and provide them with a pleasurable buying experience.    I do strongly recommend to my clients that they insure their item for piece of mind.   I provide this information to every client.

  • Where do you get your diamonds from?

I am in the New York wholesale diamond market on a daily basis.  If I see a diamond that is of exceptional value, I will buy it, so that I will be able to offer it to my clients as a good deal.   For most requests, however, I utilize the inventory of the world’s top diamond manufacturers.   Having previously worked for the largest diamond exporter in Israel, I have excellent relationships with the top manufacturers, who, in many cases used to be clients of mine.

  • Where would we meet?

If you live in the New York area I would gladly meet you at my New York office. If you are in Pennsylvania and can meet during the daytime, I have office space at the Lower Bucks Chamber of Commerce in Fairless Hills, PA.   I can also meet you at your residence, or a mutually convenient location.
